Holy Computer Crash

OK so I have been told so amny times about computers crashing. I have not had the displeasure of having to deal with that. Well last night when my computer decided to keep restarting itself after numerous attempts at trying to stop it I had to reload my computer. Thankfully I have my pictures backed up but everything else was gone and I mean gone. It took about 3 hours just to download AOL, my printer, camera software, and all the other junk.

So I really think you know you are getting old when you don't have anything planned for the New Year. I really think that when you're younger you just go and do, but having kids and a family you really don't have that luxury. I really think that the whole partying thing is over rated. Plus I have to be up a bit early to go on a trail ride all day on New Years anyhow. Old, boring people I am.

The Aftermath

OK so the holidays are done. I can now concentrate on being a blob. I am enjoying spending time with my family, riding Jazzy, and cross-stitching. I got some great presents from my hubby (this one is for you). He got me a yellow tea pot (to match my kitchen), Guitar Hero (World Tour), and he made me a zen garden. The kids got a lot of things they wanted and are very happy. Have a Happy Weekend :o)

I'm Done

So today was my last final. I sold back all my books and so glad too. I am done for at least five weeks. My brain is going to become a huge bowl of JELL-O. I am going to enjoy all of this time off till I start again Jan 26th.

Kid Free Friday

So Alexya is going to a slumber party (her first one) at her best friend Alyssa's house and Ariel is going with Greg to go and pick up Samm. I think I am going to take a long bath, watch some survivor and drink tea. I will probably sprinkle the night with a little nutrition homework to just get that out of the way.

On a school note only 2 more weeks left and that is including finals. I only have a few more things to wrap up as far as projects go and then I am done (at least for 5 weeks, until next semester). Well I am off to pick up the kids and then enjoy them for a few hours.

Oh How Time Passes

So slowly that is. I really just want this semester to be over. I find it very hard to motivate myself. I know that I need to get all the things done, I just don't want to so them. I offically have senioritis. I know that I am so close, but it doesn't seem like it.

Also Ariel is turning 8 years old on December 7th. We are having her party on the 6th. I cannot believe how fast they grow up. I swear just last year she was a baby. I still sometimes look at her baby pictures and just wonder where the time went. I have to say though I am happy that they get older, I am not one that longs for my kids to be babies again. I really enjoy being able to talk and teach my kids. I love that they pee in a toilet and not in a diaper. Don't get me wrong I love to cuddle, but it is nice they have a bed to go to. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and here's to getting ready for Christmas.
