One Day Down

So today was my official first day of school. I really think that the little bit of excitment is gone. I now realize how much work this is really going to be. I have two 4 unit classes and they have a rediculous amount of work. I think that my Herpetology class is going to be fun even though there is a term paper. I really think that I just need to look at having fun and everything else will just fall in place. Well I am off to eat my Tuesday dinner at my mom's house (it is nice to not have to cook after being at school all day).

It Starts

OK so the first day of my last semester starts tomorrow. I have to admit that I am a little bit excited. I really think that I am going to enjoy my classes this semester.

I am also excited to meet the girls again in Sacramento. Last time I saw them Cyn was still small. I really love getting together with a bunch of other girls going through the same thing. Also Nessa is almost 6 months old, yeah 6 months ago I had A and B's beautiful baby girl. They grow up so fast. I know that it seems like your own kids grow fast, but this seems like even faster. She is offically crawling, crawling backwards. Her mom said when she gets excited to get something in front of her she starts to crawl backwards and then gets frustrated that it gets farther away. I was also talking to A on the phone and she was making noises to her and she was copying it. She is the cutest little girl ever (not like I am bias, right).

Here We Go

School starts Monday (Tuesday for me) and I am excited, but not. I know that this is my last semester and then I will have my degree, but it means tons of studying and lots of tests, I just keep telling myself that it is only 16 weeks. Well I am off to get my parking pass and $500.00 in books, and that is mostly used prices. Happy Hump Day :o)

Oh and a big shout out to my new follower :o)

Hopfully Soon

OK onto fun things. I went skiing on Monday with my mom and it was a blast. I have not been skiing in about 2 years and I really missed going. It took about 2 hours to get up to Mount Shasta, but it was so worth it. I think I may get my husband to agree to let me and my mom take the kids. It is really a fun thing for the kids to learn how to do. So this is me on the ski lift having fun.

Grades are In

OK so I have been waiting for Chico State to get their heads out of their behind and they finally did. So here the are:
Plant Physiology: B
Nutrition: A-
Ecology: B-
So this means that I kept my 3.0 that I need for my SMART grant. I have fully registered for the Spring 2009 semester and it looks like I will be taking herpetology, Virology, and Environmental Science (it is on-line and 3 units, which helped me get to my 12 units needed). I cannot believe that I have been going to school for 3 and 1/2 years and that I am almost there.

On a crappy note, I went to the dentist yesterday and found out that I need a total of $2700.00 worth of dental work done. To save my poor husband money I am going to only get some of the work done and only spend about about $900.00 and save the rest for next year. Well I had my first appointment for one of the crowns today and let me tell you, it was bad. I really hate needles (I know I have given myself shots, my husband has given me shots and Labcorp loves to poke me), but the dentist needles are different. Anyway when he was getting to the end I really started to feel a lot more, I think the shots were wearing off. I started to cry and among other things just became very emotional right there in the office. It was great that the ladies love me. I talked to one of the ladies and she just held my hand and said that things would work out. Have I mentioned that I love the ladies there. I visited them for appointments and kids appointments so often during my first surrogacy that they all ask me questions and ask for updated pictures. They are the best.
